Poutine Feast!! 2018
I am so excited for this weekend!! This Saturday I will be hitting the stage at 5pm at Zwick's Park.
Along with great entertainment all weekend long; starting today with Shirley Diane Baker, tomorrow with the shadowz 1-4 pm, and then myself; and Sunday with the Land O Lake Cruisers; the Poutine Feast 2018 is bringing a wide range of poutine creations for us to taste. Then there is the beer tent to wet your whistle, and mini doughnuts for dessert.
Although I am not bringing my usual group of guys for the stage, I am more than happy to share with you that Steve Piticco Tom Hall and P.J. LeConte will be joining me to bring a blend of some of my favorite old classics, some new country from artists such as Little Big Town; Lady A, and some of my own music which I believe falls in the category of Prime Country. Trying to make it so there is something for everyone.

Kids.......music.......Life
How to find the time to manage it all? A full time job, (thank god for flexible hours) although it can be quite stressful.
For a long time I was simply a stay at home mom. Now, being a stay at home mom of three was not always easy. Back then going to the dentist was like going to the spa. I went alone!! There wasn't much time for just me and my hobbies etc. I was a mom and and a wife. It was great! really!! I am very blessed that I could be home with my kids.
But........
Deep down, there was something missing. A little ache. I was missing my music. I was missing every part of it! I didn't know at the time just how much. Until I picked up the guitar from the corner and started to teach myself a few chords. which lead to an acoustic amp......and so on.
So let's get some lessons!!
I found an add;Matt Ray; Pinnacle Music. I had met Matt in 2012 when he played for me at the Belleville Fair when I opened for Terri Clark. I knew I wanted to learn from him!
Then things started to fall into place. Matt started to join me on stage doing little duo shows locally.
helping me,teaching me along the way. I am certainly not a pro on the guitar but I do know I am getting better all the time.
That's when the spark started to come back. A small piece of the puzzle........
But then life gets messy...
